Talking About Ecology: Marco Belpoliti talks with Stefano Salis
Rimadesio approach has always been aimed to higher ecological goals, indeed the company is self-sufficient in power supply and certified according to the highest European standards; but today the word “ecology” means much more.
Marco Belpoliti, among the most forward-looking Italian intellectuals, reminded us of that, by describing the birth (actually very recent, at the mid nineteenth century) and the etymological meaning of the term “ecology”, as well as its developments and environmental implications. A “back-to-Nature” goal that needs humans charging themselves of their choices, according to the consumption of either land, as well as objects and words. Finally, the homo faber is not required to deny his will to create, but to overcome the false myth of “novelty”.
