New Opening Milano Corso Sempione

Rimadesio is proud to inaugurate its new Milan Sempione single-brand shop in collaboration with its partner, Habiform. The exhibition space boasts seven angled windows overlooking the historic Corso Sempione, located just a few metres from the Arco della Pace and the park. The new showroom, designed by the architect Giuseppe Bavuso, spans a surface area of 420 square meters over two floors. This pre-existing space has been totally renovated, and the architectural structure completely redesigned and rebuilt around the company's collection.

The design and concept of the new space are in line with the aesthetic evolution of the Rimadesio style, which is always a work in progress. "For both the floor and the walls, light colours were chosen to harmonise with the brand's vision and philosophy. The space is full of light, which is a fundamental characteristic of our approach to interiors. As part of the latest restyling, the materials, including wood, marble and the new raffia, are also offered in neutral and natural tones, enhancing the collections and highlighting the green spirit that has been part and parcel of the company's design and sustainability choices over the last three decades," added Mr Bavuso.

The central partition in sand-coloured natural stone is a particularly prominent element of this new project. Its intentionally textured finish both contrasts with and complements the shine and smoothness of the collections. The aerial staircase suspended in the void emphasises the company's core concept of lightness and transparency, made from glass and natural oak. The space houses the best of the Rimadesio collection, including sliding panels, systems and sideboards for living areas, walk-in wardrobes, cabinets and tables. These custom solutions are set apart by their sleek and recognisable style, offering understated designs and a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.

On the lower floor, the large armoured door of the pre-existing vault has been deliberately left in place and appropriately restored, underlining the precious nature of its contents. The R-Academy lies beyond: a place dedicated to training and in-depth studies related to Rimadesio's materials, finishes and technology. The pathway is designed to welcome customers and professionals into an immersive and constantly evolving business.
