The renovated Giussano showroom
Rimadesio is reopening the doors to the new showroom at the Giussano headquarters. Designed by art director and designer Giuseppe Bavuso, the exhibition space has received a major restyle. This has enhanced the original concept, which is now even more welcoming and functional.
The new company showroom is spread over a 1,200 m2 area occupying two floors, and is designed as a place for customers and professionals to meet, dialogue, hold discussions, undergo training and share information. Pure volumes and structures, and carefully selected materials are the defining hallmarks of the space, which exudes an atmosphere of harmony and innovation. The display concept plays on a sober and minimal colour palette, in line with the distinctive identity of all monobrand stores around the world.
The ground floor is dedicated to reception and training: spaces are equipped to organize meetings and convivial gatherings. A selection of new products including the system of partition panels integrated with Air swing doors and some new pieces from the Rialto collection, such as wall mirrors and coffee tables presented in new versions with oval or round tops. On the ground, a space for R-Academy, dedicated to in-depth technical and materials analysis, with a display wall hosting all 308 finishings in the catalogue: aluminium and glass - Rimadesio materials par excellence - flank marble, fabrics, Litech, essences and synthetic leather.
On the upper floor the collection includes walk-in closets, wardrobes, sliding doors, bookcases, and tables enhanced by the skilful use of light, which enhances the design of the products and the quality of the materials used.
The new space reveals a preview of the new collection designed by Giuseppe Bavuso: from the new elements of the Rialto family, including a writing desk, a six-drawers storage unit, a TV cabinet, and a console sofa-back console, to the new Air+ and Maxi+ doors, characterized by horizontal and vertical crossbeams that meet to create a geometric design, to the new Altair slim cabinet designed for wardrobes and the four-door version of the Aliante display case.
