GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2026: LAMBDA

The Lambda table, designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, has been awarded the German Design Award 2026 in the Excellent Product Design category, confirming the design quality and formal research that characterize the Rimadesio collection.

At the core of the project lies a distinctive feature: two structural elements resembling sheets that, starting from a linear geometry, bend upward as they move toward the center. A design gesture that recalls the Greek letter from which the table takes its name.
The result is a balance between visual lightness and structural solidity, where form and function merge into a sculptural, elegant and highly recognizable image.
