Self blade reinterprets Rimadesio’s modular Self system through a new, essential and distinctive sign. The aluminium side panel defines The compositions with elegance and marks their visual rhythm. Modularity opens to freer configurations, between freestanding elements and resting volumes, in a subtle balance of solids and voids. The illuminated under-top open compartment integrates light as part of the project. Versatile for both living and night areas, the system allows the free composition of sideboards, chests of drawers and bedside tables with or without the illuminated compartment, creating always different and personalized solutions.

Self Blade, modular system

Self blade introduces new aesthetic and functional solutions to the Self program: the 8 mm thick supporting aluminium side panel allows the creation of large suspended freestanding compositions, up to a maximum length of 2910 mm. another distinctive element is the lightened under-top compartment, which creates an optional open storage surface. a new cabinet unit with hinged doors is also available, in widths 560 mm or 1120 mm, for greater compositional flexibility.

The new hinge

The Self programme features an exclusive patented hinge, designed by Giuseppe Bavuso specifically for the system. Its advantages lie both in functionality, thanks to adjustments in all directions, and in aesthetics, with an essential design and a finishing chromatically uniform with the internal structure.
