Inside its flagship store in Milan Rimadesio has recently opened R books, an independent temporary bookstore that will host a fine selection of 100 exclusive publications for up to 100 days.

Collectible books, rare editions, and off-catalog volumes have been carefully chosen to offer an immersive journey through the best international publications on graphics, design, architecture, and photography. The initiative is realized in collaboration with the expert booksellers Paolo Fasoli and Giorgio Testa. An original setting welcomes visitors to the showroom. A backlit installation that recalls the cover of an enormous open book welcomes visitors to the showroom: it is the Opus bookcase, customized with new finishes and modularity for this special occasion.
Perfectly in line with the aesthetics of the flagship store, R books recalls the atmosphere of the ancient niche bookstores, with a more contemporary twist: a meeting place of minds which highlights the true essence of Rimadesio Theater as a community hub where culture and design mix spontaneously, giving life to projects always new and unconventional.
