Rimadesio is pleased to announce its partnership for the opening of the "Cesare Cattaneo” exhibition in Como. Thought and sign in the architecture. The exhibition,gathered by Pier Alain Croset, and Giorgio Ciucci is an extended version of the event that was hosted last winter in the Academy San Luca in Rome.
A prominent figure of the rationalist of Como, friend and partner of Giuseppe Terragni and Pietro Lingeri, Cesare Cattaneo stands out for its unique plastic experimentation and in-depth theoretical research, which applies with great constructive coherence and functional.
The path through the architect's work, full of autograph drawings and new,original models, it reaches "his" city, becoming the occasion for new thinking and analysis on his thinking and his poetry.
The exhibition, supported by Archivio Cattaneo and the Order of Architects under the patronage of the City Hall of Como, will take place in the setting of San Pietro in Atrio in Odescalchi 3 Str., from May 11, with opening at 18, to June 9.

Salone del Mobile 2013: the design development of the Rimadesio collection is further expanding its attention to the contemporary living room, exploring new solutions for interior design.
Starting from the aesthetics of lightness of the modular bookcase Wind to the versatility of the sideboards to the cabinets for the living room Self: different and complementary projects, whose main quality is the technological innovation.
A typological research also involving the bedroom, with middle room free standing display unit Dolmen and the evolution of the closet Cover.
The stylistic and technological research also involves internal doors with the new exclusive model Even. A variety of proposals that defines a collection, able to interpret each space, from domestic to professional spaces.
The project way: the path idea suggested by Rimadesio concept for Salone 2013 reflects on the Flagship store in Visconti di Modrone Str.. The exhibition space, in the centre of Milan, presents itself to the public in its definitive outfit with the opening of a new floor which brings the total surface to 800sqm.

Milan, Salone del Mobile 2013: the most recent way of living Rimadesio is presented in a 400 sqm exhibition space , which got as protagonist living area. Libraries, cabinets, modular wall systems, complements: an exceptional variety of proposals to suggest innovative solutions for interior design.
The exhibition is structured around a large central space, populated by the new library Wind and composition system Self, freestanding and on wall.
A section of the stand is dedicated to thebedroom, with the middle-room container Dolmen and two interpretations of the innovative Cover, wardrobe and container version for the living area and workspace.
A space designed to allow visitors to have a new total experience of Rimadesio: A unique style of living, defined by the aesthetics of glass and aluminum, inspired by the maximum stylistic coherence in each component of the project.

A new Rimadesio Showroom has been opened in Beijing.
Located in Chaoyang district, which is an important residential area in north-east zone of the capital city, the new project represents the second Asian Rimadesio Flagship Store in China after Hong Kong.

Rimadesio joins the Design Post, the new concept exhibition space in Köln.
“A showroom for design lovers, boulevard for contemporary perfectionists, an inspiration for professional”: a place where design comes back as absolute protagonist, a free path from which people can draw new ideas and suggestions.
The permanent exhibition space will be opened from 13th to 20th January, dedicated to the presentation of Rimadesio contemporary living vision through the exploration of the company collection in its entirety.
An extremely positive balance for Rimadesio during the Furniture Fair 2012, thanks to the great success of moving light, the exclusive installation of 400 sqm designed by Giuseppe Bavuso.
